Kangundo GDDP MCA aspirant withdraws from race

Sam Muthusi Muoma Kangundo Central Ward MCA aspirant stepped down and endorsed Kangundo Central MCA Moses Mitaa.

Sam who was vying on a Grand Dream Development Party which is led by Kangundo MP Fabian Muli said that he was not coaxed by anyone to support Mitaa.

This came about while Moses Mitaa who is seeking re-election was being cleared by IEBC to vie for the Kangundo Central Ward seat under Wiper Party.

Addressing the press after declaring his support for Mitaa, Muthusi said that it was time youthful leaders came together and spoke in one voice and bring change to the ward.

“Today I have decided to support Mitaa without anybody forcing me to, as youth leaders we need to speak with one voice, and that is done through supporting each other. I have seen what Mitaa has done and I know he will continue doing better for the people of central ward,” said Sam.

His words were echoed by Sylvester Kyalo alias Msanii an independent candidate who also withdrew and supported Mitaa saying that people should stop changing leaders after one term because they may not have brought the developmental changes they would have wanted to attain.

“We need to stop changing our leaders like socks or shoes anyhow. Let’s support someone so that when they are done with their terms we can see a change in our towns, Mitaa has worked and we need to support him,” Msanii said.

Mitaa who was elated by the support promised to ensure that he meets all the promises the two had given their supporters as well as work together to better Kangundo central Ward.

“I am grateful for the support the two gentlemen have accorded me and I promise to deliver to the people of Kangundo Central ward if they elect me as their MCA again on 9th God willing,” said Mitaa.
