Kibwezi West MP Mwengi Mutuse has spoken ahead of the tabling of Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua’s impeachment motion today.
Taking to his Facebook page, Mutuse said, “The framers of our constitution must have intended the testing of every provision therein.”
“That’s why, this afternoon, as part of my civic duty as a citizen and also as part of my role as MP, I will give notice of motion for the removal of the Deputy President from office, by impeachment, pursuant to Articles 150 and 145 of our Constitution.” He added
The legislator promised that the evidence he will table will shock Kenyans.
The move by Mutuse to table the motion has resulted in mixed reactions from netizens.
