Popular Radio Presenter Mercy Mawia has left Athiani FM after working at the Station for years.
Mawia also known as ‘Kamuwetangi’ will be heading to rival Mbaitu FM and according to reports she will be hosting the ‘Watinda ata’ show which was previously hosted by Irene Nyanzi alias Mwella who moved to Akamba FM.
On her Facebook page, Mercy posted a message, ‘What a journey it has been’ signaling to her fans of a new chapter.
Later she posted a photo greeting former Kitui Governor and Mbaitu FM station owner Charity Ngilu.
Mercy has been hosting ‘Kitindo’ show alongside Stano.
Surprisingly the day that Mawia left Athiani FM the station was receiving Macdonald wa Matthew who moved from Mbaitu FM recently.
It surely is the season of migration for journalists and reporters showing that the grass could be greener on the other side.
On their Facebook page, Mbaitu FM disclosed theywill be unveiling two new voices a woman and a man later today.
Recently Mbaitu FM lost three presenters and two reporters. Hurriedly the station brought back Meshack Kaleli who had been suspended and poached Nicko Nyamai from Ngumbau TV to fill the gaps.
