Renowned gospel singer Stella Mengele has joined the list of musicians defending fellow artist Roseline Katungwa after an alleged sex scandal.
On her Facebook page, Mengele urged youths to approach life cautiously lest their past catches up with them.
She condemned the person who leaked the video of the singer stating that it was wrong since she is single.
According to Mengele, the video will hurt the lady so much since her potential husband and inlaws already have the video.
The ‘Nzeleke’ hitmaker said that Katungwa should have been given time to repent and come to terms with her ugly past.
“Usherati ni dhambi mbaya sana. Naikemea. Yupo Mungu anayesamehe, kutakasa na kurejesha. Namuita usiku wa leo.Naye mwenye alichukua video na mwenye amesambaza kuharibia msichana maisha upigwe na maisha ulivyompigisha huyo msichana. Ungemwacha ajirudie na atubu,” Mengele said.
“Kutoa Uchi wa binti asiye na mume ni zaidi ya kumpiga. Wazazi/ ndugu/potential in laws haki yesu futa akili za walioona na Ngai noiwe ùtonyana na kìì. Nenyu syana maisha aa maaproachie o kavola. Please Am broken as a mother, a minister and as a woman.Yule asiye na dhambi arushe jiwe la kwanza,”she added.
Mama Africa, another artist had also asked Kenyans to stop judging her since the video was old and her past should not be used to dim her star.
