Meet 29-year-old Onesmus Muasya, Machakos CEC Gender, Youth, Sports, and Social Welfare

Onesmus Muasya popularly known as Sky comes from King’ong’oi. He went to Kingo’ngo’i primary from 2000 to 2008. In 2009 he proceeded to Ngelani High school where he sat for KCSE in 2013.

In 2014, he proceeded to Masai Mara University for a Degree in political science and public administration. He graduated in 2019 from the university.

During his vetting by Machakos County Assembly, Onesmus promised to return Machawood to showcase talents and give it the face of Machakos and allocate more funds.

On stalled stadia started during the previous regime, he promised to ensure their completion (Ikombe, Masii, Mavoko and Kinyui ) and also renovate Kenyatta stadium. He has since visited the stadia with the teams from the department to see way forward for the projects that have so far consumed millions.

On Drug and Muguka menace Muasya promised to engage the youths actively, come up with care centers for those using drugs, and partner with well-wishers for civic education to the youth.

Muasya vowed to operationalize the proposed Wikatyo fund and be a champion of youths to get government business and bring back Masaku 7s.

On people living with disabilities, he promised to champion 5 percent employment opportunities in the county and ensure they get access to the Disability fund.
