Nicholas Masila was born in Mbitini ward in 1978 and resides in Kasi Keu ward – Kilome. He started school in Kalumbi Primary and later joined Starehe Boys center from 1992 to 1995.
After Starehe, Nicholas joined JKUAT to pursue a Bachelor of Science Degree and graduated in 2001. He worked with Mark Pharmaceuticals as a production supervisor and thereafter Biodine Laboratories in the same capacity.
He then proceeded to Nobel Chemicals Ltd as a production manager and later to Kenyatta university Kitui campus as an Administrative assistant. From 2014, he worked as the county office manager office of senator Makueni. From 2017 to August 2022 he worked as a Personal Assistant to then-Senate Minority Whip Mutula Kilonzo Junior.
The seemingly Mutula right-hand man was also a political advisor to Governor Mutula.
During vetting by Makueni County Assembly, he informed the panel that he will get a database of all People living with disabilities in Makueni county and work with the Department of Devolution and well-wishers to ensure PWDs get funding and capacity building.
On the rampant cases of defilement in the county, Nicholas said he was ready to take on those who defend defilers of children and the defilers so that the habit ceases in the county.
He also vowed to do away with drug and substance abuse like Muguka and negative traits from the west.
