MCSK Boss Ezekiel Mutua bashes ODM Party

Music Copyrights Society of Kenya (MCSK) CEO Dr. Ezekiel Mutua bashed the ODM Party over the expulsion of several MPs from the party due to their association with the Kenya Kwanza Government.

Taking to his Twitter account, Mutua said that there was nothing democratic in the expulsion as the MPs made no mistake in working with the government of the day for the benefit of their constituents.

He noted that the move by the party undermined democracy and it was wrong given that its party leader Raila Odinga has also been in communication with the Kenya Kwanza Government.

“The expulsion of ODM MPs working with the Government is wrong and undermines democracy. It’s a contradiction in terms to talk of freedom of expression when one cannot tolerate dissent. Sad to see people like Kabando Wa Kabando who claim to be social democrats support the injustice,” Mutua in the Tweet said.

Below are some reaction to the tweet.

Miguna Miguna said, “Kabando is a patent hypocrite.”

Axel Yoh said, “Kabando wa Kabando’s decisions have raised questions about his leadership qualities,”

Francis Wyklife said,”Did you listen to yourself while tweeting this? It’s because of Democracy that’s why we have political parties where one can choose from based on his/her beliefs. When you sign up for a political party, you have to abide by the governing rules…Let me end it there!,”

Duke Kerama said,”Kabando is interested on their seats hata ya Nairobi Women Rep.”

Duncan said,”Sir, this is imperative. It helps reinforce political retribution that Kenya badly needs.”
