Makueni Businessman dies in grisly accident

A middle-aged Makueni businessman based in Sultan Hamud, Makueni County tragically died in a road accident along the Nairobi-Mombasa highway. 

The accident occurred when his sports car collided with a lorry in Emali town before veering off the road.

The incident was confirmed by Nzaui Sub-County Police Commander Phineas Ringera.

 According to Ringera, the vehicle, driven by the deceased man, Ndolo Silia, also known by his alias ‘Mweene Mauta’, experienced brake failure before ramming into the lorry.

Following the accident, Silia’s body was transported by police to Kilome Mortuary for preservation, as his family begins to make burial arrangements.

The vehicle involved in the crash has been towed to Emali Police Station, where it awaits further inspection.

This tragic event underscores the critical importance of vehicle maintenance and road safety on the busy Nairobi-Mombasa highway.

Ndolo owns several petrol stations christened Noble Oil in Kasikeu, Sultan Hamud, and Salama. He also owns Whisky Falls in Sultan Hamud.
