Machakos top KCPE candidates reach out to Governor Wavinya and well-wishers for help

Martha Mutunga from St. Johns Baraka who scored 425 marks in 2022 KCPE and was among the top students in the Country and Machakos county is asking for help.

She told Mauvoo News that her parents are unable to cater to her High School education and her efforts could go down the drain.

Martha is now calling for well-wishers to help so that her dream of joining Kenya High school comes true.

“Since I was a child I dreamt of joining Kenya High. I would like to seek assistance from the Government because my parents are not quite able and would appreciate any help that will come forth,” she noted.

A few meters from their home we met with Carol Mwende who went to the same school with Martha.

Mwende scored 392 marks and wishes to join Loreto Girls High School. Mwende narrated that she is a total orphan and her guardians are old.

Carol called upon Machakos Governor Wavinya Ndeti to intervene and help her join High School.

“I would like to beseech the Governor to help and I would be so happy and grateful,” she noted.

The school director Johanna Munyao said that it is sad when students do their best in exams but their efforts don’t pay.

“There are others out there too without school fees and it would be of great help if someone comes to their rescue,” Munyao said.

He noted that the school has been performing well since 2013.

For any assistance to Carol or Martha please reach out to St. Johns Baraka director Johanna Munyao on 0722 610653.
