The Eastern Region Secondary School Games were held at Machakos School where teams from Lower Eastern (Ukambani) performed well and will be proceeding to the Nationals.

Mbitini girls from Kitui County emerged as the football winners for the girls’ category after beating Ikalyoni Mixed Secondary School from Makueni County 2 goals to one (1).
Kitondo School from Mbooni, Makueni County are Rugby 7s Eastern Region Champions after thrashing Kangaru School 24-05 in the finals.
Syumile Girls from Makindu, Makueni County are the Netball Eastern Region Champions. They won 79-09 against Mwangala Secondary Secondary School, Ikutha, Kitui in the finals.
The volleyball boys final was between Tumaini Secondary School from Makueni and Gankanga from Mwingi North in Kitui County, Tumaini emerged the winners after beating Gankanga 3-0 while the volleyball girls the dominating champions Kwanthanze Secondary School in Machakos defended their title in a final between Ilika Girls from Kitui county by beating Ilika 3-0.
Basketball Boys was won by Lukenya Boys from Machakos county and the girls category was won by Tala Girls from Machakos county.
