KSSSA 2024 National Term 1 Games winners

The KSSSA National Term One Games held at Machakos School concluded in thrilling fashion as teams from across the country showcased exceptional skill and sportsmanship. The tournament, which featured a range of disciplines including rugby, basketball, handball, and hockey, culminated with deserving winners from various regions.

In the rugby 15’s category, the top three teams emerged from different corners of Kenya as All Saints Embu from the Eastern Region claimed the top spot, Butula Boys representing the Western Region secured a notable second place and Kitondo from the Eastern Region clinched third place.

The basketball competitions saw fierce competition in both the girls’ and boys’ divisions as Butere Girls dominated the courts, emerging as champions from the Western Region in the girls’ category while Dr. Aggrey from the Coast Region triumphed in the boys’ basketball, showcasing exceptional skills.

Handball was equally intense, with notable performances from Kimilili Boys of Western Region who clinched first place in the boys’ handball as Moi Girls Kamusinga from Western Region showcased their prowess in the girls’ handball, claiming the top position.

The hockey tournaments also witnessed impressive displays of talent with Musingu Boys from the Western Region crowned champions in the boys’ hockey. Tigoi Girls from the Western Region emerged victorious in the girls’ hockey category.

These victories reflect the dedication and hard work of the participating teams and affirm the importance of sports in fostering camaraderie and talent among Kenyan youth.

The Term One Games at Machakos School not only celebrated sporting excellence but also promoted unity and healthy competition among schools from different regions of Kenya.
