It was joyful and celebratory moment for a family in Kwa Vota, Kithimani Yatta ward after eventually finding their missing son.
The boy who is 13 years old went missing in July 2023. He was finally found at Isabania in a certain children’s home in Migori county.
His father Felix Kyalo, said their son had visited three neighbouring countries, Uganda, Tanzania, and Rwanda for seven months.
“The efforts in finding our son were challenging. We once experienced hard times with conmen from Namanga alleging they had found our son. I even ended up paying them five thousand.” Said Kyalo.
Rose Mbithe mother to the boy together with the villagers expressed their joy too.
The area MCA Kithimani ward Paul Mwanzia Muli thanked the villagers for the good support they offered to the family until the time the boy was found.
