Kithimani MCA condemns School fees payment on Ecitizen

Kithimani MCA Paul Muli has rubbished the national government’s directive for School fees to be paid though Ecitizen.

Speaking during the disbursement of the bursary at Kambi ya Ndeke secondary in Kithimani ward, Muli mentioned using Ecitizen will be a burden to some parents.

“Some parents use their resources to pay School fees like supplying milk to the institutions. Others are school workers who are not paid, for their children to learn in the institution. As MCA of Kithimani, I don’t support payment of fees through E-citizen,” said Muli.

The MCA applauded Machakos governor Wavinya Ndeti for the increment of bursary allocation from 80 million to 120 million in Machakos county.

“Today we have disbursed bursary to seven hundred and forty-seven students within Kithimani ward.” He added

Muli further advised parents to take care of the students during this period of mid-term break.
