Katombi shocked by amount received from MCSK as Royalties

Alex Kasau Katombi alias Bazu expressed shock at the royalties he received from the Music Copyright Society of Kenya (MCSK)

The “Kwi Kyathi” hitmaker received Ksh. 2,998 from the Society which is chaired by former KFCB Boss Dr. Ezekiel Mutua.

Taking to his social media, the renown Benga artist likened the royalties paid by MCSK to peanuts.

“RDE16E02NV Confirmed. You have received Ksh2,998.00 from MUSIC COPYRIGHT SOCIETY OF KENYA LTD on 14/4/23 at 6:21 PM. New M-PESA balance is non of your business… Ezekiel Mutua mwaka mzima mnanitumia za kununua njugu,” Katombi said in the post.
