Wiper party leader and veteran politician Kalonzo Musyoka has shared his remarkable secret for looking youthful at 70.
In an exclusive interview, the former vice president opened up about the practices he believes keep him looking decades younger.
To many who know him, Kalonzo doesn’t seem a day over 40, with his energy and positive outlook defying his age.
When asked about his secret, Kalonzo revealed that one of his core principles is never going to bed angry.
“No matter what happens during the day, I make sure to resolve any anger before I sleep. I don’t take matters to heart,” he said with a warm smile.
According to Kalonzo, harboring resentment and letting anger fester are some of the most harmful habits for both the mind and body.
He stressed that releasing negativity and finding peace with others not only improves one’s mood but also has a profound impact on physical health, contributing to a youthful appearance.
Kalonzo also spoke about the power of love and compassion as fundamental practices in his life.
“Loving my country and my neighbors has been a grounding force,” he shared. He believes that cultivating genuine respect and empathy for others, regardless of differences, has helped him avoid the pitfalls of stress and frustration.
“Anger and hatred age people faster than any other emotion,” he explained, noting that he has worked hard to surround himself with positivity and practice kindness in every aspect of his life.
But the advice didn’t stop there. Kalonzo, known for his strong family values, emphasized the importance of leading a balanced and disciplined lifestyle, particularly in relationships.
He warned against what he described as a “reckless” lifestyle, advising people to focus on building respectful relationships rather than engaging in fleeting, superficial pursuits.
“Don’t lust over your neighbor’s wife and live peacefully with everyone,” he advised, urging his fellow Kenyans to foster trust and loyalty in their personal lives.
