Wiper Party leader Kalonzo Musyoka has spoken about the ugly incident where youths supporting different wiper leaders in Kitui clashed during the OKA rally 2 weeks ago and in Mwingi last week.

During that specific day, Kalonzo Musyoka and his guests arrived to find the stadium half empty as locals who anticipated the commotion chose to remain outside. Kitui Central MP Makali Mulu then began in futility asking locals to take to the stadium. Kalonzo was forced to take over the program and invite fellow OKA principals.

Speaking at a burial in Waita, Mwingi over the weekend, Kalonzo warned the leaders to desist from such acts if they want him to become president.

“We need to have peace here. You want Kalonzo to go and become president and you are destroying his respect at home? I want to urge us to all look at the bigger picture. Stop this habit of chaos. That habit is pleasant.”Kalonzo told the leaders.

“I want you to know this, I don’t expect any trouble from Mwingi town. This party stands for peace and we don’t do politics of fighting. That’s why I command respect across the country. You cant be Kalonzo’s friend if you want to spoil peace at a funeral.” The wiper party leader went on.

Kalonzo also challenged Wiper Gubernatorial aspirants in Kitui county to stop fighting among themselves and to look at the bigger picture.

“I will call all these leaders and meet them beginning with Tsunami (Mulyungi) so that we form one team that can win. Only one person can be Governor at a time.” Kalonzo added.
