Days after Eng. Francis Maliti, Governor Mutua’s Deputy who was also a gubernatorial candidate in Machakos stepped down and endorsed Wavinya Ndeti, his boss Governor Mutua has also endorsed Wavinya.
Speaking during Ruto’s rally in Machakos Saturday evening, Mutua said that he will be voting for Wavinya as his Governor in the August polls.
This is despite Kenya Kwanza still having one candidate in the race UDA Chairman Johnson Muthama who has been having differences with Mutua even after he joined Kenya Kwanza.
The Governor said he always supports winning candidates and told locals who had attended the rally that he stood with Kibaki when the community was with Raila and with Uhuru and now Ruto because he was going to win.
“Ruto is the one who will be the next president. Please dont waste your vote. Vote for him. Mudavadi has joined Ruto and the coastal region as well. That man (Raila) has no votes.” Mutua said amidst jeers and cheers from the crowd.
“I am leaving office and the Governor i will vote for is Wavinya Ndeti because she will develop ukambani. and women Reprsentative Rita Ndunge. “Mutua revealed.
Other leaders at the rally included Aden Duale and Mike sonko who lashed out at Raila. Missed Sonko’s speech? check it out below on our youtube channel;
