Wiper Party Machakos Gubernatorial Candidate Wavinya Ndeti now says that she does not want zoning in the county for the Governor position.
Speaking during her campaigns in Matungulu sub-county, Wavinya said that people were speculating that she would be favored by the Azimio team and other candidates in the coalition asked to step down for her.
The former Chief Administrative Secretary said that she feared none of the Azimio la Umoja affiliated candidates in Machakos gubernatorial seat because she knows she would win the seat adding that the votes were with the people and they are ready for a change through her.
“Other people have been going around saying that they are being asked to step down for me, let them not step down for me let us go to the ballot, to Kalonzo and Raila Odinga I want to tell you do not tell anyone in Machakos to step down,” she said.
“Let them be there so that I can trounce them early in the morning, I will win with a landslide that no one has ever seen in Machakos, the people have already accepted me and I am ready to work for them and deliver as your next governor, so kindly Kalonzo and Raila do not let anyone step down,” she added.
Last weekend, Machakos Gubernatorial candidate of CCU Party Nzioka Waita said he was not going to drop out of the race even if President Uhuru tells him so. Waita said he had been told so by a Bishop and he was going to the wire.
Wavinya was accompanied by her running mate Francis Mwangangi, Senator Agnes Kavindu, Matungulu MP Stephen Mule, MCA aspirants among other leaders.
