Controversial Kamba gospel artist Ken Kijana Ndeke ya Muthanga has responded to Alex Kasau alias Katombi after he asked him to stick to Gospel music and leave festivals to Benga artists.
According to Katombi, gospel musicians should only sing in churches because festivals and clubs belong to Benga artists.
Although he did not directly refer to Ndeke, Katombi dared him to organize a solo festival at captains Mlolongo.
“Yaani mundu a twerk Kuu tiktok nutikie mwini.. kwathi wambe ithangu ya ndanzi wiweka vaa captains mlolongo nikana umanye ala Masungaa ndanzi naau.. ukatunya wikiwe kyaa kitimba,” Katombi on his Facebook said.
Ndeke noted that some people have been fueling the beef between him and his fellow artists.
Ndeke said there was no bad blood between him and Benga artists and wondered why they were so much bothered by him. He further urged those insulting him on social media to continue because that’s what has raised him as a musician.
“Ukai kuu ala mukitaniasya ngu Iko olewenu Nye ndiundu na aini ma mbenga twikulanya kyau Nye ndinaa mbenga nitweka mbaka yesu nenganai ripot isu nandu mamatusi mwikanoe Nye nookilwa numatusi tikutavwa nesa hahahahahahaha mwinume,” said Ndeke through his Facebook page.
