The bouncer who was accused of harassing Ladies at Kamba Festival was on Tuesday afternoon presented before Milimani magistrate court.
Identified as Daniel Odinga Tabu, the bouncer was charged with sexual offense including touching buttocks and breast of female revelers.
This followed an uproar on social media when several ladies complained of been sexually abused by the said bouncer at the Kamba Festival on 14th September at Carnivore grounds.
One popular Kamba Tiktoker known as Mary Musyoka accused the bouncer of indecently touching her and her friends.
The lady claims that the bouncer was rude to her and threatened of being in the government.
Accompanied by Nominated Senator Tabitha Mutinda the business lady reported the case at Langata police station alongside other victims.
The bouncer denied the charges, and in the ruling, the magistrate ordered that Odinga be released on a Ksh 350,000 bond with one contact person or an alternative of Ksh 200,000 in cash.
His defense lawyers requested more lenient bond terms due to his limited financial means. They explained that Odinga is a young father, living in the Korogocho slum, and the sole provider for his family.
The case will be mentioned on 17th October 2024.
