Speaking during the launch, Yatta MP Robert Basil noted that the introduction of free, reliable internet access in these key areas is more than just a technological upgrade—it’s a powerful tool for community empowerment.
With connectivity now available, residents can explore online educational resources, apply for jobs, access government services, grow digital skills, and connect with the wider world in real time.
“This is more than just the internet,” Basil said during the launch.
“It’s a gateway to empowerment, innovation, and inclusion. We’re unlocking potential—especially for our youth—by removing the barriers that have held them back for too long.”He added.
