Kwasiku-Migwani-Mbondoni road construction set to commence

The construction of the Kwasiku-Migwani-Mbondoni road is now set to resume.

This is according to Mwingi West MP Charles Nguna who toured the road with the contractor and engineers. The 27 KM road construction will cost taxpayers 3.8 billion shillings.

“The road will cost 3.8 billion, this is historic, no MP you have elected has ever brought such a big project. The President will come to launch the road next month.” MP Nguna said.

The MP also thanked Agriculture and livestock development PS Jonathan Mueke, who he said assisted in pushing for the funding of the road.

The contractor said the construction was to start in 2022 but they will fast track so that it can be completed in the next 2 years.

MP Charles Nguna also urged the contractor to give the youth and locals first priority when the construction begins.
