Kelvin Kioko, popularly known as Bahati, teamed up with Alphonce Kioko, aka Maima, for their latest release, Mwikali.

The words are an earnest plea to Mwikali, inviting her into his world and family. It’s a touching contrast from his usual themes and shows his versatility as an artist.

Maima, known for his distinct Kamba vibe, brings depth with his verse, “Nakwendeie upole kana ndwi maringo, ndwi maundu 40 tena wi wa kanisa, ndwivata na sherehe, kana ndwi wa gharama, kyaku no kasoda.”

Here, Maima describes the qualities he cherishes in Mwikali, valuing her modesty, faith, and simplicity.
