The Wiper Party has made significant changes to its leadership. Dadaab MP Farah Maalim has been appointed as the Deputy Party Leader, taking over from Nominated Senator Shakila Abdalla, who now assumes the role of Secretary General.
Makueni Governor Mutula Kilonzo Jr. and Victor Swanya were named Assistant Chairmen of the party. Makueni Senator Daniel Maanzo and Wundanyi MP Danson Mwashako will serve as Deputy Secretary Generals.
Mwingi Central MP Gideon Mulyungi retained his role as Party Treasurer, with Kilome MP Thaddeus Nzambia and Mohammed Zakirhusein appointed as Deputy Treasurers.
Kathiani MP Robert Mbui has been appointed Organizing Secretary, with Kibwezi East MP Jessica Mbalu and Muriuki Ndwiga as his deputies.
Mavoko MP Patrick Makau takes over as Secretary to the Parliamentary Group, while Eunice Lumallas assumes the role of Secretary to the Coalition and Coordinating Committee. Douglas Mbilu, the Makueni County Assembly Speaker, will serve as Secretary of the County Assembly Caucus.
Rose Museo, the Makueni Woman Representative, has been appointed Chairperson of the Wiper Women Democrats League, while Majala Mlagui will lead the Young Wiper Democrats League.
Kitui Central MP Makali Mulu is the new Secretary for Devolution, Planning, Finance, and Vision 2030, and Matungulu MP Stephen Mule will serve as Secretary for Health.
