A day after Wiper Party reinstated Dadaab MP Farah Maalim, the move has resulted in a wide uproar on social media.
In July, the party had expelled Maalim over remarks that he would kill at least 5,000 Genz’s if he was the president during the anti-finance bill demos. The National Executive Council then also ordered his de whipping from all leadership positions in Parliament.
The legislator who is not new to controversy had voted Yes to the Finance Bill and also signed for the motion to impeach Gachagua last week against the party stand.
Here are some reactions to Wiper decision to reinstate Maalim;
Davies O94 said, “Just for clarification, we are talking about the same Farah Maalim and the same Wiper? The hypocrisy in Kenyan political space is fucking unbelievable.”
Vic Vanrey said, “In Kenya, impunity is rewarded and forthrightness punished. This is evidently clear in the Farah Maalim’s appointment .”
Babu Juma said, “If you’re promoting Farah Maalim even God won’t be of much help to you. Just ask for a position in government so that when we drain the swamp we clean it from all hypocrites and the old politicians who don’t care about the country but their interests.”
Mhenga Maarufu said, “Kalonzo Musyoka is a hypocrite! Didn’t this Farah say he would have butchered 5000+ Gen Zs ig he were the president?We will never forget!.”
Draconus said, “So Wiper are selecting someone who proposed multiple homicides on innocent demonstrators for high office? Good, good. We see you Wiper.”
Kenneth Maxwell said, “We, the youths of this nation oppose the appointment of one of the leaders who stated in public that during the Gen Z protests, he would have obliterates 5000 gen Zs.”
Masaku Kilonzo said, “Kalonzo ni Bure. Ni Raila mwingine tu. Same characteristics.”
Mango Brian added, “Enyewe we are so deep in ignorance when it comes to compliance, someone who threatened to kill the youths due to peaceful demonstrations being appointed as the Deputy party leader? We are indeed lost when comes to Kenya’s leadership”
Wamara added, “And Kalonzo wants us to take him seriously when his party still has open arms for Farah Maalim who said the government should massacre Gen Zs? We don’t forget these things.”
