Machakos Wiper Gubernatorial candidate Wavinya Ndeti has taken a swing at her opponent Nzioka Waita over his manifesto launched last Saturday.
Speaking during a political rally in Kinyui Market, Matungulu sub-county, Wavinya said that electorate was tired of manifestos saying that Mutua had a manifesto but failed to deliver to the people.
She said that the electorate wanted a leader who knows their problems and ensures that they would deliver rather than giving them manifestos that would amount to empty promises.
“We have had enough manifestos with Mutua, he gave us a manifesto and he did not even honor it, he took you to heaven, a heaven that you did not go and then he left you to fall back on earth,” she said.
“We need leaders who can account for their time in leadership, my track record is clear, I transformed Kathiani sub-county when I was the MP there, let people show us what they have done not giving us manifestos,” she added.
The former transport CAS called out on Nzioka Waita and his running mate for allegedly sponsoring people to take her to court over the credibility of her academic papers noting that their efforts bore no fruit after the court trashed the case.
“I am not ashamed to say Waita and Mrs. Mwangangi you have sponsored people we have done our investigations, they take me to court to question my academic credentials. We went to IEBC tribunal, they said that they are okay and you did not get satisfied and you took it to Machakos High Court,” Wavinya alleged.
“You have tried to discredit me but today the court has decided and trashed the case. The registrar has written to South Bank and City university and they have affirmed that my degrees are genuine,” She went on.
