Matungulu MP takes on Nzioka Waita over Wavinya’s Degree

Matungulu MP Stephen Mutinda Mule has told off CCU Party leader and Machakos Gubernatorial candidate Nzioka Waita over Wavinya’s Degree.

Speaking at Katwanyaa market in Matungulu Subcounty, Mule said that if Waita was man enough he should stop being a pest in Wavinya’s Gubernatorial bid and concentrate on his own. Mule accused Waita of sponsoring court cases against Wavinya over her academic credentials.

“If you are man enough stop talking, stay in the race up to the ballot and stop bothering Wavinya by taking her to court every now and then but wait till August 9th when you see her win the election,” said Mule.

Mule further claimed that Waita was asking Azimio la Umoja to let Wavinya drop her bid and support him for the Machakos Governor position ahead of the August elections.

“You have been telling Azimio to support your bid for Machakos Governor and asking them to tell Wavinya to step down and support you. Why can’t you support her? relax and wait to witness her win,” Mule claimed.

This comes after a court case was taken to Machakos High Court seeking the review of Wavinya Ndeti’s Degree certificates, a case that is set to be heard on 11th July. An earlier petition to IEBC to disqualify Wavinya was dismissed after the tribunal said they have no jurisdiction to determine the authenticity of academic credentials.

On matters National politics, Mule asked the IEBC to ensure that they reveal to the public the number of polling stations and voters registered there before the general election.

“Chebukati and your team reveal to Kenyans the number of polling stations in the country and the registered voters in each polling station before the election. We do not want ghost polling stations we want the real list,” Mule went on.
