Residents of the newly formed Ngai location, Mbooni are a happy lot. This is after the constituency NG-CDF allocated 1.5 million to the newly gazetted location.

Ngai location was gazzetted late last year as a new location by the National Government and a new area chief is set to be deployed by the government.

Speaking at a consultative meeting that he held with the Kakuyuni sub location residents, the MP stated that his leadership is committed to serving the people of Mbooni constituency.

“I want to take this opportunity to thank the people of Mbooni for the continued support for the past five years since I assumed this office. My leadership is fully committed to serve you my people,” he said.

Kivasu further urged residents to maintain peace by not allowing selfish leaders incite and divide them during the campaigns period.

The Sh1.5 million from the NG-CDF Kitty is allocated for bursaries in the new location. Every location in Mbooni Constituency will get the same amount for bursary allocation and the new Ngai location has been factored.

“Just like other locations in Mbooni Constituency, our new location, Ngai location will be allocated Sh1.5 million for bursary. We fully welcome the idea by the central government to give us this new location in our constituency to ensure they bring resources closer to the people,” Kivasu went on.

Kivasu has also allocated funds for the construction of a police post in the location to ensure the area security is heightened.

The MP further announced that he will work hard to see the full constitution of the location and ensure a chief is deployed immediately.

Kivasu, who will also be defending his seat in the coming August 9 general elections, also promised to continue supporting needy students in his constituency to realize their education goals.
