A Section of the Kincar-Airways road, Machakos county has been washed away by the ongoing heavy rains.
Machakos Governor Wavinya Ndeti inspected a section of the road that was completed last week but 5 days later the rains have wreaked havoc on the road.
Questions have since been raised about the quality of the works. Flooding at JKIA is also said to have contributed to the situation.

Mauvoo News has since established the construction is ongoing and the contractor is yet to finish the full section as they have been forced to slow down due to the rains.
