Odi Bet partners with BCLB to Transform Kako School for Special Needs

Odi Bet through their initiative, Odi Mtaani Foundation in collaboration with the Betting Control and Licensing Board (BCLB) unveiled an initiative at Kako School for Special Needs in Makueni County.

Odi Mtaani’s General Manager Dedan Mungai, on behalf of Odi Mtaani expressed appreciation for the warm reception and pledged continued support to the community.

“We thank you for the warm welcome you have given us here. We are glad to offer help, and this is not the end. We shall continue supporting communities,” he affirmed.

Mungai announced the commencement of a borehole drilling project by his team, scheduled to begin on February 26, 2024. Odi Mtaani further contributed sanitary towels and foodstuffs, proving their commitment to holistic community development.

Gracing the event with her presence BCLB Chairperson, Dr. Jane Mwikali Makau, praised Odi Mtaani Foundation’s philanthropic deed, describing the borehole initiative as a commendable gesture.

“I would like to appreciate the Odi Mtaani Foundation for sinking a borehole for our schools and community at large. This is a gesture that should be embraced by other betting firms,” she remarked.

Makau stressed the importance of sustainability. She further urged the school to establish a committee to oversee the effective operation of the borehole, ensuring its effect on the community.

The event end was marked by a tree-planting ceremony, led by the chief guest and other officials present.
