Ngilu resurfaces after disappearing from the public for months

Former Kitui County Governor Charity Ngilu has appeared for the second time in public after missing in action for months.

Ngilu accompanied other Ukambani leaders to the burial of Businessman Pius Musembi at Sultan Hamud in Makueni County.

In her speech, Ngilu urged President William Ruto to ensure he fulfills his campaign promises to the people of Kenya.

She said that Ruto should follow in the footsteps of former President Mwai Kibaki and improve the lives of Kenyans.

In the last election, the Governor supported Azimio leader Raila Odinga’s presidential bid.

Since Ruto won Ngilu kept her calm and vanished from the public eye.

Kenyans had been wondering where the former governor and vocal politician disappeared after her candidate lost.

Other leaders who attended the burial include Wiper leader Kalonzo Musyoka, Machakos Governor Wavinya Ndeti, Makueni senator Daniel Maanzo, and Makueni Woman Representative Rose Museo among others.

The leaders eulogized Musembi as a leader who fought for the rights of the people till his death.
