Mwala MP Eng. Vincent Musyoka alias Kawaya has decried increasing disrespect from Machakos County officials.
Speaking during a tour of Masii ward, Mwala Subcounty Kawaya said he had noted severally that officials in the county government had disrespect towards him warning them against it.
“Let the Governor be told. Let’s respect each other and let her stop carrying boys to come and speak about Kawaya. Every time is kawaya this, Kawaya that, and am tired, “The Mwala MP Said.
“If you come to the residents do something that aligns well with what you promised them. We have seen many governors and sat with many presidents but have never seen the kind of disrespect here in Machakos,” he added.
Kawaya went ahead to castigate the ongoing public participation in the county for the annual development plan saying that they were uncalled for because many of the projects from previous public participation sessions had not yet been actualized.
“I worked well with Governor Mutua but here right now it’s all about public participation. Every time it’s public participation let me go and ask them what they want. Have they done the ones they collected opinions in the other public participation before they embark on another, “The MP questioned.
