Bahati recently took a trip with his family to Ukambani in Mbooni. During the trip they visited his late mother’s grave, marking 25 years since her untimely passing. The intimate and heartfelt visit included his wife, Diana Marua, and their children.
In the video shared by his wife on social media, the Musician Is heard requesting elders to be shown where his mother was buried.
The family paid their respects at the gravesite, reflecting on the legacy of a woman who continues to hold a special place in Bahati’s heart despite the passing of time.
“So Mueni you have seen, this is where your grandmother was buried,”Bahati said.
Bahati shared snippets of the moment on social media, expressing his deep love and gratitude for his mother’s sacrifices.
In a touching moment, Mueni offered her father heartfelt advice, showcasing wisdom beyond her age.
“You should call those people to customize your mom’s grave. They put some glass on it and then write her name when she was born and when she died,”Mueni said.

Bahati later took his two daughters and showed them his late big brother’s grave where also the family was able to share a light moment making a significant memory of their visit to their father’s homeland. This visit reminded many of the importance of family, legacy, and keeping loved ones’ memories alive.
