Kitui School has once again demonstrated its commitment to academic excellence with exceptional results in the 2024 Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) examinations.
The school achieved an impressive mean score of 9.5261, a significant improvement from the 2023 mean score of 8.8973 in 2023. This represents an improvement index of +0.6288, highlighting the strides made by the institution over the past year.
Out of the 268 candidates who sat for the 2024 KCSE, 98.51% attained university-qualifying grades. This remarkable achievement positions the school among the top-performing institutions in the country and underscores its reputation as a center of academic excellence.
The grade distribution further illustrates the school’s outstanding performance. A total of 12 students achieved an A, while 51 attained an A-. Additionally, 79 students secured a B+, 74 earned a B, and 33 achieved a B-. Grades C+ and above, which qualify for university admission, were obtained by 233 students, with only a small number receiving grades below this threshold.
