Matungulu MP Downplays Ruto’s frequent Ukambani visits

Matungulu MP Stephen Mule has downplayed UDA popularization in Ukambani saying the people were behind Wiper Leader Kalonzo Musyoka.

Speaking during the disbursement of bursaries in Matungulu Subcounty the Wiper MP said that UDA was not development-oriented.

“I Have heard they are coming, I have told you that I will not accept wheelbarrows in this area, will the wheelbarrow give you bursaries as I have given you today,”MP Mule said.

The vocal legislator revealed that they had planned to have a mass voter registration drive in Ukambani to ensure they gather more votes for Wiper leader Kalonzo Musyoka in his bid for the presidency.

“We shall be having a voter registration and sensitization in all Ukambani counties to ensure that we gather votes for our leader Kalonzo Musyoka, we shall have a meeting in Makueni, Machakos, and Kitui Counties and we shall be with OKA principals,” he said.

Deputy President William Ruto is expected to tour Matungulu, Kangundo, and Kathiani Subcounties today where he is accompanied by several leaders including former Machakos Senator Johnson Muthama Nduya.
