Matungulu MP Stephen Mule has hit out at Machakos Governor Dr. Alfred Mutua and his 2 colleagues Ngilu and Kibwana for claiming that Kalonzo was asking for 3 billion to join Azimio la Umoja coalition.
Addressing the media after attending a Sunday service at Precious blood Tala parish where over 250 faithful were confirmed, a seemingly angry Mule claimed it is the 3 Governors who had been bought and they had no significant following in the Eastern region.
“Governor Kibwana, we know you are going home. Renovate your house and retire in peace. You are making a lot of noise because you know you don’t have the community and it is behind Kalonzo. Stop hurrying us. We know where we are going. Governor Mutua, when you insult Kalonzo again, you will see .” Mule said.
“We have given Kalonzo the permission to engage all leaders in Kenya. You are talking about Azimio, what is Azimio? We will engage with registered parties. One Kenya alliance is registered, ODM and Jubilee parties as well. We are not going to seat with the 3 Governors, they have no influence, their work is just to insult Kalonzo.” Mule went on.
According to the MP, Governor Mutua was disrespectful to Kalonzo citing the recent incident where the Governor announced the death of Kalonzo’s wife only to later turn out it was untrue and he had to apologize.
“Governor Mutua, you are disrespectful to Kalonzo and we won’t let you continue, the other day you claimed Kalonzo’s wife was dead, yesterday you were saying he is asking for 3 billion. Kalonzo cannot auction the community as you did to Machakos county.” Mule added.
