Masii Ward MCA Douglas Muema Musyoka was Tuesday arrested at his residential house construction site in Machakos.
Musyoka who was arrested by Machakos County inspectorate officers was released on a cash bail of Ksh. 50,000. The reason for the arrest is reportedly not having approvals for the construction.
The arrest comes just days after the Masii MCA accompanied by Mwala MP Eng. Vincent Musyoka called out Governor Wavinya over the raid of Mua MCA Ngunga MCA businesses.
Mwala MP then speaking at a burial in the Ghetto area of Mwala made fun that the county administration would soon come to arrest Douglas because he had raised his voice on things that were not being done right by the county administration.

The arrest has resulted in an uproar and comes just days after businesses belonging to Mua ward MCA Ngunga, another fierce critic of Governor Wavinya were raided and staff arrested. The MCA also alleged to have lost property during the raid.
