Machakos University fraternity is mourning the sudden death of Registrar of Academic Affairs Prof. Ezra Okemwa Ondari.
In a memo from Vice-Chancellor Prof. Joyce Agalo to all staff and students of the university, the Machakos University fraternity was asked to support the family at this time of grief.
“It is with profound sorrow that we announce the untimely death of Prof. Ezra Maobe Ondari Okemwa. Until his demise, he was the Registrar, Academic & Student Affairs (ASA) of Machakos University.” The Memo from the VC read.
“Details of his burial will be communicated in due course.” The memo went on.
Prof. Ezra Maobe was found dead at his home. Prof. Okemwa had a PhD in Knowledge management from Cape Town, South Africa, ALA-accredited MS, and Post Master Certificate of Advanced Study, in Library and Information Sciences, with a specialization in Information Resources Management,
The deceased had an International Relations and African Languages Bachelor of Arts Degree from University of Nairobi
