2025 KCSE Results were released on 9th January 2026, Here are the results for Machakos School and Mumbuni Boys.
Machakos School had a total of 569 candidates and a mean of 8.37 with 4 students attaining grade A, 38 A minus, B+ 99 students, B 125, B- 154 and C+ 83, C 44, C- 19, D+ 2 and 1 D.
Mumbuni Boys had 387 candidates. 4 had A minus, 11 B+, 36 B, 72 B -, 85 C+, 69 C, 35 D+, 8 D,1 D-.
The school had a transition rate of 55 percent – 213 candidates.
National Performance Overview
At the national level, over 270,000 candidates scored C+ and above, qualifying for direct university entry, while 1,932 candidates attained a straight A. The number of candidates attaining a pass grade (D+ and above) rose to 634,082 (63.67%), up from 605,774 (62.76%) in the 2024 KCSE.
However, 1,180 candidates were found to have been involved in examination irregularities, leading to the cancellation of their results.
