Muthwani MCA Dominic Maitha has issued a stern warning to Machakos Deputy Governor Francis Mwangangi, urging him to stop what he termed as unprovoked attacks on Mavoko MP Patrick Makau.
Speaking to the media, Maitha accused the Deputy Governor of repeatedly insulting the legislator during visits to Mavoko Constituency.
The MCA warned that such conduct would no longer be tolerated.
“If you come to Mavoko again and attack Makau, we will deal with you. We will not allow it,” Maitha declared.

Maitha further dismissed the DG’s criticism of Makau, saying Mwangangi is not on the same political level as the MP and should “stay in his lane.”
He alleged that the Deputy Governor was acting on instructions from unnamed individuals who are intent on undermining Makau.
“Go and tell whoever sent you to insult Makau that we are not going to allow it anymore,” he added.
The MCA also described Makau as a respectful and composed leader who has chosen not to respond to Mwangangi’s provocations.
“I am speaking on behalf of Makau. Leave him alone,” Maitha concluded.
