The 2024 Machakos County Secondary School Terms 2 Games were held at Machakos School from the 2nd to the 4th of July.
Here is a list of the winners in the different games that are set to proceed to the regional levels in Kitui.
In Football Boys Tala High carried the day after a thrilling match against Machakos School. After both teams failed to score, they proceeded to the penalties and Tala beat Machakos 5-4. However, Machakos Boys appealed and will now proceed to represent the region at the Boys football. In the appeal they said Tala Boys had an external player.
In Girls’ Soccer, Kibauni Girls beat Mathauta Girls 2-0 to fly the Mwala constituency flag in the regionals.
In Volleyball Boys, Kibauni Boys carried the day after beating Muindi Mbingu. In Volleyball Girls, the legendary Kwanthanze beat Lema to proceed to the regionals.
In Basketball Boys Machakos School and Muthetheni Mixed will represent the county in the regionals. Kyasioni Girls and Muthetheni mixed will proceed to the regionals in the girls’ category.
In Netball, Kwanthanze Girls are the county champions.
In Rugby 7s Muvuti Mixed in the Boys Category and Muvuti Mixed in the girls category were crowned the County Champions.
