Kyome/Thaana Ward MCA aspirant Stanley Ngui Muthengi popularly known as Stano has passed on in a grisly road accident.
The youthful aspirant who was vying on a Tujibebe party ticket had just been cleared before meeting his death along Thika road on Sunday morning while heading to Nairobi.
Although details about his death remain scanty several leaders in Kitui led by Mwingi west MP Charles Nguna have sent their condolences.
In a Facebook post, Nguna said Stanley was a gallant leader who never hesitated to fight for the youth. He noted that the decreased strived towards having a better community.
“I have learned with great shock and disbelief about the sudden demise of my greatest friend and Kyome/Thaana MCA aspirant Stanley Ngui Muthengi just hours after being cleared by IEBC,”A post by Nguna read.
“Stanley was a talented youth with a promising future, a gallant comrade who relentlessly fought for the youth and endeavoured to have a better community. I send my deepest condolences to his family, friends, and all his esteemed supporters in the entire Kyome Thaana Ward,” he added.
“I send My deepest condolences to the family, friends, and all supporters of My friend Stanley Muthengi Jnr MCA aspirant Kyome /Thaana in Mwingi west constituency, Kitui County. A young promising politician gone through a road accident hours after presenting his MCA papers to IEBC.” Kitui women Rep Irene Kasalu in a statement said.
Other leaders praised him as an astitute and focuses leader who focused on action rather than words.
