Kasolo Launches Week-Long Prayer and Fasting in Face of Court Case

Popular Kamba gospel artist Stephen Kasolo has publicly announced a 7-day period of prayer and fasting as he seeks divine intervention in an ongoing court case.

In February, Stella Mengele took the singer to court over alleged defamation. The singer was arrested and spent days in prison, the court case is still ongoing.

In a heartfelt message shared on his Facebook page, Kasolo revealed that the legal matter has taken an emotional and financial toll on him, prompting what he described as a serious journey of faith.

He stated that he is starting a 7-day journey in prayer and fasting for the ongoing court case and invited his fans and fellow believers to join him in interceding.

Kasolo emphasized the power of collective prayer, expressing hope that his spiritual exercise would not only impact his situation but also uplift those who stand in solidarity with him.

He also said that he prays the entire process ultimately brings honor to the name of the Lord Jesus Christ.

In a show of humility, Kasolo extended an apology to anyone he may have wronged, calling for peace, unity, and reconciliation within the Christian community. Citing a verse from Corinthians, he urged believers to remain spiritually aligned and support one another during difficult times.

He ended the post with a declaration of faith, affirming his trust in divine justice, saying he is strong in the Lord and in the power of His might, and thankful for the shield of faith that quenches every fiery dart of the enemy.
