Controversial gospel artist Ndeke ya Muthanga has raised concerns over his safety, claiming he has been receiving calls from unknown individuals and now fears for his life.
Taking to his Facebook page, Ndeke shared a video in which fellow singer Stephen Kasolo appears to issue a statement in a TikTok live last week, saying, “The next time Ndeke trolls me, it will cost Ukambani.”
Following the post which has since been deleted, Ndeke expressed distress, stating that as an orphan, he has no one to turn to and fears that his days may be numbered.
He pleaded with his fans to pray for him, suggesting that his life could be in imminent danger.
“Morning my fans, I am posting this video to let you know that I urgently need prayers. For the past two days, I have been receiving calls from different people whose intentions I don’t understand,” he wrote.
He went on to make a chilling remark: “In case you hear one day that Ndeke is no more, just know that I had no mother or father to fight for me. If you ever come across my child, please help them. At this point, I feel like I might leave my people behind. I love you all, and I know that one day, some will read this story and shed tears,” he added.
Ndeke’s emotional plea has left his fans deeply concerned, especially after he failed to appear on a show he co-hosts at Kwitu FM where he was replaced by Stano Pupa Simba.
Last week the singer had a heated exchange online with Stephen Kasolo. He also released 2 controversial songs that left netizens talking.
