Kangundo: Needy Girls with 350 marks and above to get scholarships

Needy Girls from Kangundo who scored over 350 marks in KCPE and have been unable to join secondary schools can now breathe a sigh of relief.

This is after Caring Hearts and Hands of Hope Organisation founder Dr. Vincent Muli Kituku announced that he was going to sponsor girls who had scored 350 marks and above from the sub-county.

Kituku noted that some pupils did not make to go to school due to their poor backgrounds.

He asked parents of children to bring their children to Caring Hearts Girls High School on Wednesday next week for intake.

“Caring Hearts and Hands of Hope organization will be sponsoring girls who come from vulnerable families and finished their class eight last year from Kangundo sub-county,” said Kituku.

“These girls need to have 350 marks and above and should be in school on Wednesday for admission,” he added.

Poverty continues to threaten the dreams of bright and needy students across the country, three weeks after the form one intake began. Close to 200,000 children are yet to join form one, with a majority of them citing a lack of finances to enable them to take up their spaces in secondary school.

Caring Heart Girls High School was the best school in Matungulu sub-county in 2022 KCSE. Missed the story? check it out below;
