Wiper leader Kalonzo Musyoka has said that individual police officers who used excessive force on Kenyans protesting will be prosecuted.

The former Vice President noted that if Kenya is truly a democratic country then the officers who used excessive force should not go unpunished.

“If we are in a country that believes in the rule of law then these officers should face the law. We are following the constitution to the latter unless it is wrong but I don’t think so,” he added.

Kalonzo sympathized with families who lost their loved ones during the protests insisting that justice will be served.

The Wiper party leader added that the issues raised by the Azimio coalition are very critical and the government should be ready to address them soon.

“You cannot plan to referee an election where you will be contesting, it’s unacceptable and Kenyans are suffering. Aside from other issues the cost of living is high and everyone is crying, “Kalonzo reiterated
