Wiper Party leader Kalonzo Musyoka has revealed that Wiper’s agreement with the Muungano party expired. According to Kalonzo, the agreement was for only year. He spoke while meeting a section of leaders in Makindu.

This comes days after Kibwana asked Kalonzo to retire from politics and support another candidate from Ukambani as he had failed to secure the presidency over the years. The second term Governor also asked Kalonzo to keep off Makueni affairs.

Kalonzo revealed that going forward they will count Muungano party as opposition in Makueni. “I think as you have heard senator Junior saying, the thing has lapsed. We will now have Muungano as opposition because the Majority MCAs are from Wiper. I have informed speaker Douglas Mbilu on the same.”

The wiper leader accused Muungano of being a thorn in the flesh when they joined Wiper. He lamented that some of this leaders used the agreement to try and spoil the Wiper party.

Musyoka also invited Kibwezi West MP Patrick Musimba, Prof. Philip kaloki, Former Makueni Speaker Stephen Ngelu and other leaders to join Wiper. He called for Wiper leaders to work together in unity.

Kalonzo later attended the funeral of Margaret Syokau Ndolo at Makindu ward, Kibwezi constituency.
