Kalonzo blasts Kenya Kwanza for suspending NEMA officers

Wiper party leader Stephen Kalonzo Musyoka has blamed the Kenya Kwanza administration for suspending NEMA officers involved in the licensing of the Embakasi gas plant.

Speaking in Kitui county Kalonzo urged Ruto to conduct a clear investigation concerning the cause of the blast before condemning NEMA officers.

Kalonza said the high rise of corruption has led to such incidents within the country.

” Corruption is all over the country. Kenya kwanza government has no mercy on Kenyans and further investigation should be conducted to know the cause of the Embakasi blast ” Kalonzo said.

The wiper party leader passed a consoling message to the affected families. 4 people died in the gas blast and 300 have suffered major injuries.

He further mentioned that the Wiper party has started an initiative to register members in preparation for 2027. Kalonzo assured the wiper party will win the Presidency in 2027 and downplayed divisions in Azimio.

“There is no disunity within Azimio la Umoja Alliance and we are ready for 2027 ” added Kalonzo.
