The 2023 KCPE results were released by Education CS Ezekiel Machogu on Thursday. Here is how some of the schools in Machakos County performed in the examinations;
Excellent Stars Academy Mlolongo had a mean of 380.56. 2 Students had over 400 marks Teresa Atieno 403 and Lucy Benson 402.38 students scored between 350 to 399 and 1 below 350.
St. Francis of Asisi Nguluni, Tala had the best student scoring 413 marks and a mean score of 377. 10 Pupils scored 400 and above, 57 between 350 and 399, 9 between 300 and 349, and 2 between 250 and 299.
Lukenya Academy had a mean of 374 with 13 pupils scoring over 400, 90 between 350 and 399, 19 between 300 and 349, and 2 pupils below 300.
Early bird Schools Machakos registered 3 candidates with over 400 marks. Elvis Bosire was top with 407 marks followed by James Israel with 403 and Leon Mutua with 400 marks.
At Machakos Primary, 6 students scored over 400 marks with Deborah Mutanu topping 409 marks followed by Elvis Kitavi 406, Wanza Sylvia 402, Muli Mwikali, Maina Lynn, and Sylvia Kerubo who all scored 400.
Ikombe Day and Boarding Primary School Yatta had 17 students scoring over 400 marks. Kelvin Soire and Desmond Allan were the top students with 415 marks followed by Evelyne Mutheu at 414, Kimeu Bill and Felix Musau at 411, and Blessing Mumo, Mulinge Benjamin, and Michael Kiilu at 410.
Kyandu Bright Academy had 9 candidates scoring over 400 marks with a mean of 365. Precious Mumo was top with 414, Benson Mutiso 409, Vincent Mutuku 407, Ryan Linus and Catherine Ndunge 405, Elvis Makau 404, Lewis Masore 401, Marion Tinkoy and Alpha Mumo 400.
Jonazaria Academy Kathiani had 2 candidates with over 400 marks; Mark Muthama 406 and Doreen Mutheu 401.
Makutano AIC Boarding had a mean of 350 with the top student Muinde Joy scoring 411 marks followed by Nyaribo Anne with 400.
Kathiani ABC Academy had a mean score of 345.6. 1 student scored 400 marks and above, 21 from 350 to 399, 24 from 300 to 349, and 1 below 350.
