Go home and relax, Ruto is God chosen – Muthama tells Uhuru

Former Machakos Senator Johnson Muthama has called on Former President Uhuru Kenyatta to retire from politics.

Speaking during the burial of Peter Wambua in Tala, the Parliament Service Commission (PSC) member said that the former President should go home and relax just like his predecessors.

“Retired President Uhuru Kenyatta just go home and relax, you have ruled for 10 years and Kenya has 50 Million people and we cannot lack a leader,” said Muthama.

He went on and said that President Ruto was chosen by God and the people of Kenya despite Uhuru and Raila claiming to have the deep state with them.

“Ruto is the President anointed by God. He won despite you and Raila claiming to have the deep state. Having served as a President for a decade one wonders what more Uhuru wants to achieve if it is not personal ambitions that are driving him,” he added.

The former UDA Chairman went on to applaud the Kamba Community for showing unity during the demonstrations that were being held by Azimio-One Kenya Alliance by not going to demonstrate.

“Gone are the days that we were taken for granted as Kamba Community. Am happy how our people rather than taking it to the streets to protest chose peace and unity,” said Muthama.

“Such actions show the resilience and maturity of our community. We should highlight our problems through discussions and dialogues, not on the streets,” he added.
